Christmas Tree with Bow and Heart on Cricut Craftroom

I recently received a Cricut Expressions printer for my birthday, and I wanted to learn how to make cute stuff for the holidays without spending a ton of money on the cartridges. This post is going to teach you how to make a simple Christmas tree with a bow and heart at the top!

The first thing that you need to do is open up Cricut Craft Room, and make an account. It is free, and comes with a few Cricut Craft Room Basics that you will need for this Christmas tree project.

The next step is to click on the basic Christmas tree that comes with the Cricut Craft Room Basics.

After you have clicked on the Christmas tree you will leave it off to the side for now, and click on the Cricut Craft Room Basics letter "K", which will eventually become the bow for the tree.

Once you have the "K" on your screen, highlight it and size it down to about 0.986 width by 1.236 height and duplicate it in the options on the left of your screen.

The next step is to rotate one of the "K"s so that it is completely upside down, and connect the stem of the "K"s so that it looks like a bow with a line through the center.

The next step is to highlight the entire bow you have just made in order to be able to drag it as a whole piece (make sure that you have clicked "weld" so your bow is made into one whole piece). Then you can drag your bow on top of your Christmas tree until you like where it is placed.

Finally you can place a heart from Cricut Craft Room Basics on top, and you have your finished product! You can highlight the entire thing, and move it around on your mat. You can then connect your Cricut with your computer, and print off your new Christmas tree with a bow and a heart!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!
